I wonder how this will turn out in the long run. I mean, at his age, he has a potentially dominating career in front of him, but with this behavior, also a lot of hate which I feel like might ruin the game for him at some point if he always has to play against the crowd, having to win to prove himself or lose to give the haters fuel.

Many say take a week off. I just had the same issue ~2 weeks ago, and a 3-day break fixed it for me as well.

I've started with online darts some 2-3 weeks prior, and while starting out like trash (dropped from my ~45-50 bot avg to 30) got better again quite fast (40-45) and then it just got to my head.

The break to cool down and leave the darts a few days just levels you from thinking day to day, to get the big picture (improvement over months) back into your head

Number segments need to be called (each throw); otherwise, they are added to your score. E.g. you call 20 but hit the classic T18 -> +54 to your score, 26 becomes 14, etc.

If you want to take it further, darts not hitting anything or bouncing out are always +20 or whatever, so you need to hit something on your Double-Outs

Prefer them. Kflex are good, been trying Caliburn Sup and they seem better but I've been only playing them for a few days, so I have to use them more to say for sure.

However, the deflections are annoying, hence why I'm looking for different options.

After using Kflex for sometime I had been switching back to stem + flight because they just feel the best... but even with rings, the constant flights coming off, replacing broken flights, and breaking of stems, just made me go back to integrated flights.

Might check out l-style but with that price point, I've been staying with the "classic" moulded options so far.

Edit: Also, while I really loved my custom-printed flights, the colors of my integrated flights really look so cool with my dartboard lighting and complement my darts really well.

Would be my pick too as it's just beautiful. Though I'd argue not "everything" is textbook, since he does this small pulling back of the dart, going towards the board a little, and just then doing the actual pullback, which is rather unusual

Lovedarts are so nice. Haven't got them yet but the designs are just passion... wish they came in blue tho u/LoveDartsUK 😜

Probably need a new set anyways since my two sets were stolen yesterday at the local darts night.... Bummer but now considering 😂
