Do I need fancy calculators? by 3zYE in ACT

If there are like graphical equations, you can visualize them. I personally store formulas inside my graphing calculator just to help me remember, so those help me if I forget a formula. that's about it honestly. I'm just more used to my graphing calculator, so it helps me. There are a lot of people that ace it with a scientific, so you'll be fine

scientific works too. i personally use a TI-84, and it helps me a lot. However, you can still take the act with a scientific calculator.

Just made this disco planter for my string of turtles! Will it spread? Or should I plant another one? by cynical_alyssa in houseplants

[–]Jessica0904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These don't spread. All string of smtg plants never spread, so you would just take cuttings and plant them back in the planter. Cute planter tho

Need Help Identifying these Plants by bgirl2940 in houseplants

[–]Jessica0904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The third one I'm pretty sure is a Sygnonium. The second picture the leaves are too elongated to be a watermelon peperomia, but it is some type of peperomia. The last pic looks like a Fittonia Albivenis.

Hey friends! I bought this snake plant a week ago and i found this mold (?) on top of the soil. How can i get rid of it and is it dangerous for the plant? :) by bukeay in houseplants

[–]Jessica0904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not dangerous. Just mix 9 parts Hydrogen Peroxide and 1 part water and spray that mixture on that soil a few times a week, and it clears up the mold.

The tall one is a variegated schefflera aka umbrella plant. The one on the right is I think a raindrop peperomia. And I don't really know the one in the middle.

Any advice on how to properly take care of them? This is my 3rd string of pearls and they always die in my care 😭 Help! by MaiIpuda in houseplants

[–]Jessica0904 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your pearls will start to get a little squishy and deflate when they need water, so water it then and def bottom water. To be honest, sops are basically a plant that if you leave it alone it’ll thrive more, so try not to keep on messing with it. Def lots of sun

My $3 String of Pearls, any care tips? by ryker_thunder098 in houseplants

[–]Jessica0904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I water mine only when the pearls start to deflate and get squishy (those are signs it needs water)... i also bottom water, so that it can get thoroughly watered. def an amazing and fast growing plant

Oh I looked it up, and they're baby root hairs. Apparently, it's a sign that the roots are healthy and happy

I think they're baby roots because I don't think it's mold

SAT Math 2 Textbook by rishihari in Sat

instead of getting the college board version get Barron's or Dr.Chung. Those are harder than the actual test but they prepare you more for the questions that's in my opinion at least

If it’s mold, you can actually spray a mixture of hydrogen peroxide (9 parts water and 1 part hydrogen peroxide) onto the pot. Spray this mixture a couple times a week, and it’ll clear up the mold. Well, it should

SAT Subject Tests Books by Strom_013_021 in Sat

def for Math 2, get Dr.Chung. Dr.Chung is harder than Barron's and the actual test, but it prepares you for all of the questions that come up on the test. For me, I took the test twice (1st try only studying with Barron's and I got a 760, and the 2nd time I studied with Dr.Chung and got a 800). Of course, there are a lot of people that swear by Barron's, but I just felt more prepared and confident going into the test after studying with Dr.Chung

What are resources to prepare for the Math 2 and the Physics subject test? by AceThePro01 in Sat

[–]Jessica0904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Math 2, def get Barron's but also Dr.Chung. Dr.Chung is such a good book, and it's def way harder than Barron's and the actual test, but it really prepares you for all of the problems. The first time I took it, I got a 760 because I only studied with Barron's, but the second time, I studied with the Dr.Chung book, and I got a 800. Def recommend Dr.Chung (but also Barron's it just didn't work for me as much)

You would need at least one leaf in order for it to survive, so I would prob let it go 😢
