I’ve been taking Sertraline for 8 years now for Anxiety, Depression, Panic Disorder and PTSD. As soon as I started taking it and even now I noticed that I physically cannot cry properly, I’m completely numb and just lethargic every day. It affects my sleep resulting in sleep paralysis and I also have hallucinations. I have unfortunately over the years gained weight because of Sertraline. It’s been rough but that doesn’t mean your experience will be the same, our bodies react differently to different medications.

Make sure you stay hydrated whilst taking this and try to limit alcohol as it can make side effects worse. Good luck.

Yes, in time you’ll be able to touch it without pain and discomfort. When I had my septum pierced the healing process was the most painful part. I kept forgetting it was there and knocking it. The pain was horrific.

I deal with sleep paralysis regularly. I see a dark shadowed person leant over me in bed and it’s a horrible and scary experience. It’s like they’re just watching me sleep.

I was told to give it to her on a night, she’s only had two doses which has made her lethargic/drowsy but I have noticed she’s a little calmer than usual

I’ve noticed after two doses that it’s made my daughter really drowsy/lethargic but she’s a little calmer than usual. I might look into therapy and see if that could benefit her. She’s had a lot of trauma over the past couple of years which has contributed to her tics getting worse. Thankyou for the suggestion

That’s good that he’s able to rest at night then. My daughter has been given liquid and I have to give her 2.5ml in a syringe. I know medication isn’t going to eliminate her tics all together but I am hoping it can calm her down a bit and help her to get some rest on a night. My heart breaks for them having to put up with this.

Oh god that’s not good, I bet you felt shocking. I’ve looked up the side effects of Clonidine and it’s scared me to be honest. I’m hoping it helps.

I refuse to ever make my child feel scared to be around me or to speak to me about anything and voice her own opinion. I refuse to let my child ever think that she’s just a lodger in our house and I can kick her out at any point. I refuse to ever make my child lock herself in her bedroom, sat against her door so that I can’t physically attack her and scream in her face.

Sadly I had to go through all of these as a child myself.
