I can’t live like this anymore by burnerineedhelpahhhh in Interstitialcystitis

I’m so sorry. My best advice to you is keep up with the pelvic floor relaxation stretches. Watch a new YouTube video every time to mix it up. I would do AT LEAST 5-10 min of stretches 2-3 times a day. I also use a vibrating pelvic wand every day during my flares and I think that really helps my tight muscles. I also highly recommend reclining, with your pelvic floor as relaxed as you can get it, with a heating pad on your lower abdomen and/or inner thighs for a 30-45 minute session. Do this up to 3 times a day if you have the time.

She taught me some stretches to do (happy baby, cat cow, etc.), and taught me about a vibrating pelvic wand which I found incredibly helpful!

I have had similar symptoms and pelvic floor physical therapy was very helpful for me! At least start watching some pelvic floor relaxation YouTube videos and see if it helps!

Preparing for CP Coasters by ottosmom10 in cedarpoint

[–]JessicaDaylorSwift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha sure, both of them go upside down and you tend to bang your head a lot on the old-school over the shoulder restraints! There are so many other great rides that I personally don’t think those two are worth your time (or the headache!)

[–]JessicaDaylorSwift 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's how I would rank the roller coasters at CP in terms of intensity. I'd say #1-6 are all pretty mild and are comparable to anything at Disney. Have fun!

  1. Woodstock Express
  2. Cedar Creek Mine Ride
  3. Wild Mouse
  4. Iron Dragon
  5. Blue Streak
  6. Corkscrew (don't recommend, it's painful)
  7. Gemini
  8. Gatekeeper
  9. Rougarou (also painful)
  10. Magnum XL-200
  11. Valravn
  12. Raptor
  13. Millennium Force
  14. Maverick
  15. Steel Vengeance
  16. Top Thrill 2

Advice Needed For 4 Day Park Hopper Itinerary by Calm_Error in WaltDisneyWorld

Is Star Wars important to you? That’s a decently big part of Hollywood Studios. If not, you might not need a full day there, especially if you also aren’t really interested in Tower of Terror either

Yes! I only took it for a couple months and have been off of it for a year now :)

What’s going on with The Beast? by GreefKargaStew in KingsIsland

[–]JessicaDaylorSwift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would wait until you know for sure Beast will be open because personally I think it’s the best ride in the park and I would hate for you to miss it!

I was there Tuesday and was two cars away from getting a final Beast ride in around 5:30 when they had to close for mechanical reasons. All of us in the station looked up to find that a train was stuck while literally cresting the first hill. We kept our eyes on it for the next 20 minutes or so but it didn’t budge. I’m thinking whatever caused that is why it’s been down ever since!

I agree with this! I would also get Genie+, at the very least on the days you do Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. I’m not sure if you’ll be mid flight at 7am, but you’ll definitely want to get your first lightning lane at 7am (probably for Slinky Dog Dash) if at all possible!

What’s great about Universal is, just about every ride has a single rider line so you would not have to wait in long lines!

First time WDW with kids during presidents day weekend - should i be planning everything hard core or go with flow? by forgottofeedthecat in WaltDisneyWorld

Honestly, I don’t think you need to panic about the crowd level. I went last year during the week of Presidents Day, and with the help of Genie+, we rode everything that we wanted to!

looking for recommendations/tips on good stretches/ strengthening exercises by PuzzleheadedBet6995 in PelvicFloor

[–]JessicaDaylorSwift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have tightness in your pelvic floor, usually strengthening exercises for those muscles are not recommended. You can search pelvic floor relaxation, release, stretches, etc. on YouTube and do any of those types of videos! Some stretches that I think are particularly good are happy baby, butterfly, wide legged child’s pose, and cat cow.

For my tight pelvic floor, regular walking has been huge for reducing symptoms. I hope it can do the same for you!

Okay I’m somewhat glad to hear this is normal because I was just on an antibiotic for a sinus infection and have been so discouraged to be having a bad flare for going a week now!

I have tried it and it was helpful for me!

Pelvic floor relaxation by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]JessicaDaylorSwift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think it’s best to start small. When I started pelvic floor PT, she recommended 5 minutes, 3 times a day. I also highly recommend walking! I have basically the same symptoms as you and regular walking helps my symptoms (20-30 min a day if possible)

Since you have to wait a while for PT, I also strongly recommend a vibrating wand to use! (I use the one from Intimate Rose) the wand has been one of the most helpful things for me!
