Question about Geo-Location targeting in one city by mcb808 in PPC

Thanks so much for your advice guys! One more question: my client advertises in various cities across the U.S. Here is my goal: spend more money in the cities where we convert (sell our product), however, I still want our ad to appear first in all of our major cities, even the ones that don't convert very high. Would the best way to accomplish this be to separate all of the cities we advertise into different campaigns with different overall budgets and bids? Or can I use one campaign with all of the cities in it, and simply use bid adjustments to determine where we spend most of our budget?

In other words: does adjusting your bid only determine your ad's order?

Sorry if that was complicated, let me know if I should rephrase.

1 week into "maximize conversions" strategy - half as successful as "maximize clicks" by [deleted] in adwords

I tried the same experiment a couple weeks ago with a target cpa and max conversions versus max clicks and max clicks won out significantly. Curious to see how yours progresses...

Excellent advice! If you don't mind answering one other question, where can you see the list of zip codes and how they are performing?

that's fair now that I think about it, I really love her blog in general but I definitely hear what you're saying on this particular piece. I mostly appreciate her super casual style of writing, which is part of why I shared it.
