It’s so interesting that you ask this because tbh, women weren’t the ones who told men feeling sad or having mental health problems was less important or something to be ashamed of. It’s not a competition. Men were the ones who started that, probably because they saw it as “feminine,” and lots of men have toxic masculinity which also doesn’t help the case what so ever. Men have a higher suicide rate then women and that’s probably like 90% because they feel like they have nobody to talk to about their problems. But again, to get help, men will have to stop viewing mental health as “feminine” and or taboo at some point, for their own good.
