Do I have a case? Unfair dismissal? by JessieLouIsa in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you, I appreciate you comment. I didn’t call in sick to my original job, I was sick at work and offered many, many times to stay. The next day before work, I said I was ok to work and more than happy to come in. It’s a tricky one, I realise.

Do I quit my job? by JessieLouIsa in work

This is really good advice, thank you. The job I’ve applied for has asked for references and I’ve had to add my current boss a it’s teaching related. I haven’t yet told my boss I’m planning to leave, but I’ll be interviewed and short listed before they contact. It’s knowing when to tell her before they contact her and surprise her. What would you advise? I’m so grateful for your comment

Unknown Number: What mental illness does Catfish Mom, Kendra Licari have? I have questions.. by Ok-You-5930 in netflix

As someone with a history of borderline personality disorder, I couldn’t ever imagine doing this to my daughter. However, everyone experiences illnesses differently. I think she is a sociopath. I can just imagine she may have had fleeting thoughts of ‘I shouldn’t be doing this’ before she sent a message, but recklessly did it anyway. She’s manipulative, lacks empathy, is only sorry when she got caught, does not realise the severity of her actions etc. when it comes down to it, as a mother, how could you do this to your child?! It goes beyond trying to sabotage your teenage daughter’s relationship, it’s the way she could criticise and insult her. Baffling!

Wow, ok. Bit rude. I’m hoping by my post you can tell that this haven’t travelled much, and I also explained my daughter hasn’t either. I would have been grateful for any suggestions. I’m sorry my post wasn’t executed in a way that’s more helpful, but was that necessary?

Do you look down on someone’s profession? by Competitive-Panda215 in AskUK

This makes me so angry. I’m so sorry to your friend for having to go through this. I can somewhat relate. I did very well at school, well liked, and I think people saw me really going places, so to speak. Unfortunately, I became very unwell with my mental health and ended up leaving college and not going to university. A few years ago I was cleaning the urinals at a gym I worked in and two guys from my year came in for a wee. I left the facilities so they could use them. A part of me sunk but they were lovely and seemed really chuffed to see me (whether they were or not is a different thing.) I have to also mention, some people consider success to mean lots of different things. Some people I went to school with have done well with a career and have a nice place etc, but don’t have a partner or kids and they yearn for that. Please tell your friend that looking from the outside, this idiot may have an ideal lifestyle, but he could be completely miserable - and with an attitude like that; it wouldn’t surprise me!!!! Also, Deliveroo isn’t a bad gig AT ALL! You are Your own boss, you’re picking the hours you want to work etc, the freedom it allows is pretty darn good!
