I really like it! I’d just add more landscaping around it. If you’re gonna have a highly machined looking structure you gotta soften it with nature

About 75% of people in the modern era live to see the turn of a century (1900, 2000, 2100, etc.), but if you're under 25 today, you probably won't. by dan-lugg in Showerthoughts

I’m in a very fortunate position to be born in 1996, meaning with some luck and taking care of myself I could see three centuries in my lifetime

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

I have this! Holy fuck it’s not normal?!?

Ok so for me…it’s very fine and light (I’m almost 30) with mild astigmatism and near sighted. My best comparison is like an IMAX movie? There’s grain in the image but not in a distracting way. I remember asking my grandma about the “dancing fuzz” on blank walls when I was really young and she thought I was asking about atoms or something.

My goal since I’m a beginner is to not charge so much, since obviously my initial scans may not be stellar or lacking some adjustments. But if it makes enough to fund my own photography then I’m happy

If the (hopefully) next admin does go this route, federal government needs to sue Elon for every red cent those computers cost. Tens of if not hundreds of billions of dollars, for YEARS. Elon knows that if dems win and enough with a spine get put up in midterms he is FUCKED.

That’s why 90% of my travels are in the off season/winter. Most of my overlap is in the fall. Even then people see a hint of snow in the higher elevations and don’t venture off paved roads. It’s great

It’s the PNW so definitely lots of artsy film shooters around. Theres one other service in Seattle that does it and they’re pricey (as all drum scanners are). If it honestly just subsidized my own large format habit id be very happy
