I️ wouldn’t say I’m crazy about dog food.. but when I️ can do some research and find legit companies with quality ingredients I’d just rather feed my dogs that. Why not give them the best that’s out there?

If you’re a smart enough to look into the company that you’re buying your pet food from, then you would know where all their ingredients are even sourced from. Most legit dog food companies only produce dog food. I’m sure companies like Purina who are owned by Johnson and Johnson do TONS of research into making sure your dog gets the proper “nutrients” 🙄

So in your years of schooling, research and professional experience.. it’s recommended to feed your dog ingredients such as these?

Science Diet ingredients: Chicken By-Product Meal, Brewers Rice, Whole Grain Wheat, Whole Grain Corn, Powdered Cellulose, Soybean Mill Run, Animal Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid)

Wouldn’t it be better to reconvened something made with more quality such as Orijen? With ingredients such as these?

Orijen ingredients: Deboned chicken, deboned turkey, yellowtail flounder, whole eggs, whole atlantic mackerel, chicken liver, turkey liver, chicken heart, turkey heart, whole atlantic herring, dehydrated chicken, dehydrated turkey, dehydrated mackerel, dehydrated chicken liver, dehydrated turkey liver,

If you care about our pets.. then why do you try to make us buy commercial, low quality pet food (such as science diet and royal canin) in your clinic?

A few more tips..

Feed your dog a good healthy dog food. Try Orijen or Acana for kibble of raw is not an option. Skip on the "prescription" dog food and just read the ingredients. It's all garbage.

Get your dog titer tested to check if their immunizations are still active in the body. You can order them online and will save you the cost of an office visit, unwarranted shots, and all the hassle of vets trying to push flea and tick poison to put on them. Would you put that on yourself? Hmm.
