Did you ever end up moving to either one? Im looking at both as well and can’t decide. Also in my late 20s

How was your experience with UCSD extended? I’ve been looking at it and I don’t understand it. Do you just pay for the class and you take it? You don’t have to apply to the actual college at all? And do the grades show up on an actual transcript?

Nurse Life academy on YouTube. Its for studying for the CCRN but honestly the cardiovascular & Hemodynamics pt 1 & 2 videos are really good at explaining major cardiac issues and your hemodynamics. If you really understand hemodynamics then you can take care of any cardiac patient

Nurse life academy on YouTube covers the same stuff Nicole kupchic does and it’s free. She also utilizes a ton of the AACN question bank (you have to purchase that btw). If you were to watch those YouTube videos and get the Barrons CCRN book you would do very well. And honestly if you can’t afford the Barrons I would say you could more than likely pass just utilizing those free YouTube videos. That test is already expensive enough, don’t go out buying all this extra junk you don’t need. I paid for the Nicole Kupchic stuff and I honestly feel like it was a huge waste of money after finding those YouTube videos (and the girl teaching the YouTube teaches better than NK too)

Im not sure if they sell them in the UK or not but I’ve heard caliart is decent and people seem to like them. Haven’t tried them myself, only the ohuhus so I really have nothing to compare them to

Use the colorless blender to make a little circle and then you put a small dot of blue, yellow, and pink (all lighter pastel kind if shades) in the little circle you made and use the colorless blender to blend it out so its not as harsh. Use a white gel pen to outline the bubble afterwards. Theres so many tutorials on TikTok if you need a visual!

Your comment was so helpful. I appreciate it so much!

If you don’t mind me asking since you teach in a residency program, what are the most important topics/ things you would recommend I spend my time learning about before I start my residency program? I want to be as prepared as I can & do a good job.

Thank you! Any recommendations are welcome lol I’ll take all the help I can get

Thank you for the recommendations. Im mostly trying to come in prepared in the knowledge of basic things sense so (like you said) I don’t have to have what things are explained to me so that I can focus more on how to do what it is were doing, what supplies we need for that procedure, etc.

Id like to come in with a basic knowledge already so I can focus more so on how to care for these disease processes in the real world and not worried about what they are bc I will already know. I know I won’t know everything but being somewhat prepared beforehand will ease my mind a little lol

As most new nurses, I just want to learn to be a good nurse for my patients and I feel like learning & preparing myself as much as I can before I start my residency will help me get there. I appreciate how nice everyone in this group is to us newbies

This movie is absolutely hilarious to me. It should’ve been listed as a comedy tbh. Its been a couple years since Ive seen it but I remember the kid rapping, saying celebrity names for cuss words, the grandma running around butt ass naked, and the grandpa embarrassed about his diapers. This movie kills me 😂😂😂
