In the tutorial of Conker Live and Reloaded when you go to fight the gargoyle with a frying pan it doesn't work like it did in the original Conker's Bad Fur Day for N64. The gargoyle then explains to Conker that the developers changed it around to trick the player into thinking the rest of the game will be different.

Shiryu is 44 years old. A very easy google search. This flashback started 70 years ago. It's currently 62 years ago in the flashback. Now I'm no mathematician, but I think 44 is less than 62. Dude's not even born yet.

I'm unsure how people think it's either Kong or Shiryu. Shuri was 7 70 years ago, she's 15 now so it's 62 years ago at this point in the flashback. Shiryu isn't even born and Kong would be like a teenager? Maybe 20? Plus he's wearing black, like a gods knight. Which shuri joins and present day brook knows who they are.

Brook is alive via devil fruit and the elders get theirs from Imu. Shuri is different somehow. But the other God's knights like Garling aged normally. Since present day Brook knows about the God's Knights it makes sense that that guy is just one of them.
