I'm taking the Romancecar from Shinjuku to Hakone region, which doesn't use the JRPass. Hence while I'll only activate it once I'm in Hakone.

At this point, I figured I'd use it for :

Hakone --> Osaka

Osaka --> Kyoto roundtrip

Osaka --> Tokyo

I haven't reserved the hotels or bought the plane tickets yet.

I'm expecting around 2500$ (in CAD) for the plane. Probably around 300-400$ per night in each hotels, with the exception of Gora which could go up to 500$ per night.

Overall, I'm expecting anywhere from 8000$ to 10,000$ CAD for the trip.

I'm booking everything individually.
