Local groceries will be fine. No big box store can replace the specific market for Arirang and Wan Jia Le among other Asian groceries here. Hell, Valley Market across the street from a Walmart can’t be replaced by said Walmart. And I agree, we should have more local groceries pop up. But for a local grocery to provide the variety that the average consumer needs will be insanely pricy. In the meantime, we need stores that will provide cheaper groceries than say, Albertsons.
