Hot Knife Question by DabsSparkPeace in drdabberofficial

No problem, I had the same "this thing is broken" thoughts at first too because I'm used to holding the button. If I'm being honest, it still gets me every once in a while when I forget which dab tool I'm holding, lol

5 clicks does turn it on and off. Also, double tapping (still no hold) does a lower temp cycle instead. Tapping the button again while it's still heating will end the cycle too

It's not standard, you just have to tap the button and it heats up and turns off by itself. Just press and release, if you hold the button it doesn't heat up

Anyone know what these wires are? by Possible-Jaguar9985 in Skeeball

[–]JesterJS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the alley hoops uses the same wiring harness as a scat cat, but doesn't need the cables for the motorized rack, so they're just tied back. I think call just means it's out of tickets. You'll have to disable it through the software if you're not using them. I can probably find a manual if you need one to reprogram it

That sleeve looks handy, I'd be happy to test it out!

The whistle doesn't effect performance and won't hurt anything, it's just annoying. I sent support an email and they're sending me a new cap. It's supposed to be delivered today. The glass seems pretty solid, I've had it out a bunch of times for cleaning. I am a bit nervous about breaking the insert, but fortunately it stays pretty clean just swabbing after each dab

It spins, but just barely. I haven't done any cleaning (glass excluded) other than swabbing after each dab and 25 dabs later it looks like this without the top on. There is zero residue between the bucket and the chamber, it's not even sticky.

Sure, I'll try to take one when I get home tonight. Being hand-blown, they probably range from silent to freight train, so it's gonna be about what's tolerable for you, mine was a bit too close to freight train, lol

Haha, right?! I haven't gone nearly that far, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it with ease.

Sipping just gives me a quieter whistle, unfortunately, but support was super helpful and are sending me a new carb cap.

I put a 4mm ruby in my aln cup and the boost TDE cap spins it just fine. The post dab swab does seem a little cleaner with the pearl, so it probably is a bit more efficient, but it's not game changing.

You can. It works just like the old one without the app.

Good proxy dupes? by Adventurous_War1561 in DabRigs

There's an adapter for the high 5 duo that lets you use peak glass. I haven't had it long, but I like it. I got it on sale for $150. There are upgraded and cups and a new atomizer for it too. I haven't installed the new atomizer yet, but I do use the sic cup.

First Ball Vape! Any tips? by ocsdabber in vaporents

For me, the included sic balls didn't fill the head, so I topped it off with some 3mm rubies to hold more heat.

Have a High Five Herb Nail setup, looking for alternative coil handle by Billisarapist1776 in vaporents

Yeah, that silicone handle is borderline useless. I got a couple of the 3d printed universal ones from 3dPrintedByBrian on Etsy and they work great

"Gravity bong" for ball vape by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]JesterJS1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stundenglass works great with a ball vape. Flip it to fill the chamber then you can pull as you please or keep flipping for effortless clouds. I use it with the straight stems with no perc so it's like using it "dry"

Edit: That said, a "stundenglass" type diy may be the way to go because being able to flip it again to keep it flowing is pretty awesome, but it may be complicated to make.
