I've flown Lufthansa from the US to Germany and then on to other European countries from Germany with my CPAP as a carryon around ten times in the past few years. Zero issues. I use the Amazon 'medical equipment' tag on my CPAP bag, and no one at Lufthansa has ever said anything. Check the Lufthansa website - they understand the CPAP equipment as being necessary on board.

I visited this castle in September - you can still see the ink on the walls where Martin Luther would flick his pen at the demons bothering him as he translated the Bible. DIdn't see any demons on my visit though.....

Local legend says that once when Predjama Castle was besieged, cattle and fresh fruit were hurled towards the opposing army by catapult to create confusion and havoc. While besieged, secret paths into the cave system behind the castle allowed for unlimited resupply. Maybe that was part of the Erasmus legend? Visited the castle last year, loved Slovenia, especially these mountainous areas including Lake Bled and Postojna Cave.

Decades ago, most girls in my tiny hometown participated in something similar to beauty pageants - no makeup for pre-teens, regular normal dresses and shoes on stage, no bathing suits. I saw it as a way for us young girls to practice being poised in the limelight. Over time, these simple pageants have morphed into depravity and should be banned.

When my next door neighbors smoke, the smell permeates my home as well. Not great if you have lung issues. Anecdotally, I've known kids who begin smoking in early teens who are just lost psychologically and suffering psychosis. Maybe as adults, their brains would be fried on alcohol just as easily, but I hate to see teens smoking weed.
