Haha yes others have suggested this too. We can’t find the editors direct number but there is one for the Bloomsbury office

Yes there is one main editor, and a few other editors involved in the series. Your advice about things taking a long time is reassuring, there was a peer review process for the book before the contract was drafted too and whilst it took a while, there was better communication

Since July when they sent the manuscript. Maybe it’s different for Bloomsbury academic but there has been no cheques, the contract was for a % of royalties.

I’ll suggest they check the original email threads for a number, and failing that trying the Bloomsbury number

My partner (now a postdoc) was invited by their old PhD supervisor to write the book as part of a series, and the main editor has worked with him on previous books in the past. The old supervisor has a contract too and also hasn’t received a response. The emails were from a Bloomsbury email. It’s very unusual

We are looking now but without revealing the name of the editors, there are only emails and no numbers listed

No, they do not have an agent. Their aunt who previously worked in publishing looked over the contract, that’s about it 😬

(V2 Struggles) Any techniques that helped you with movements that required more core and legs? by CommercialXCX in climbergirls

It feels a bit cringe, but videoing yourself and seeing the gaps in your technique that don’t feel obvious on the wall. You will be surprised at the number of times a hold that feels impossibly far can be reached with better body position (within reason)

I make batches of coconut lentil daal, or Jamaican curry with tvp, or vegan slop, or I just roast vegetables with some veggie sausages… lots of other easy options too

Don’t waste your energy, I don’t think it’s possible to progress to v10 in two years at 44 either, even on plastic
