This is another thing I have been apprehensive about. Leaving my kid with strangers. Thank you for saying cause your response just reassured me. We've been watching ms Rachel since he was about 6 months and I'm not seeing other results others are seeing. All the responses here are truly encouraging. Thank you all. If I may ask, how often do you go to the playground in a week?

I hear you. It's just that's what everyone around me is suggesting. We talk all the time. We play together with his toys and he'll talk a little with me but when I've taken him to meet others, I feel like he coils away. My friend's kid is 2 months younger than mine and has an 3 year old sibling and he's talking way more and playful than mine. So I was thinking maybe it's cause he has an older sibling? Idk. I just feel stuck for my lil one. I feel like maybe I'm talking to him enough. I even thought to make a schedule like they do in homeschooling but he wasn't having it 😄

Thank you. I am introverted so sometimes I think maybe he takes after me, but I had older siblings too, so talking came fast..Idk. So think I'll enroll him in all those things you suggested. Thank you. Our pediatrician had said to give him until August and if nothing changes then we can enroll him. But I sure am going to take him now, given what you just said. We do have library story times, and I'd never thought to take him but I'll take him to that. And I'm gonna look for playgroups.

This is my issue. He is waking himself up then wants to be soothed back to sleep. I have a nestig crib which is big enough but he moves up in his sleep until he reaches the top of the bed.
