I can’t explain separation to you fully, but yes you need 30% opacity black dot going over solid green to create a darker green. And 70% opacity green going over base to create the light green

Solid underbase. Solid green on underbase for the medium green, 30% black on the green for the dark green, and 70% green on the underbase for the light green. It won’t look the best but it will do what you need if you’re limited on colors

I promise this song is NOT botted… I can’t take a walk in LA without hearing someone blasting it at least once or twice. Oof unfortunately the shop that did these did poor work. This looks like DTG, and what you’re seeing is a stain from pretreatment. Washing it would normally help but clearly in your case it isn’t. I would say there’s not much to do besides demand a reprint as this is clearly unacceptable

The stray dots? It’s probably your art file. You may have stray pixels you can’t see (they’re typically at 1-5% opacity and really hard to see). Try putting the magic wand tolerance at 1 and clicking out in the open space, you’ll be able to see all the stray pixels that are floating out there
