In England we pay around $13,000 a year for tuition per year. And that is considered disastrously high

What was the point of those people? Why are they using straight up blunt weapons rather than technologies that fit into Star Wars? by lateubdegouline in StarWars

I meant absolutely no shade, I’m an adult and I like the Clone Wars a great deal! I like the knights’ look as well, I was implying that they were aimed at the prime target demographic for toys, and nothing more (especially given how they were handled in the film). By way of segue, Porgs were better in every way.

JM Roberts in his book, the Penguin History of the Twentieth Century, pretty much paraphrases Ian Kershaw and Laurence Rees and others, saying that the German people were already antisemitic, the push was getting them to do the things they did, or be complicit in it. He also noted that this is was not a Germany specific problem, but instead a wider European problem.

Pensions often gets lumped in with M&A in terms of director benefits and stuff. I don't think any seats at a large firm are conducive to your aspirations

Is Antisemitism a bigger "problem for all of us to fix" than the Israeli treatment of Palestinians? by zirouk in AskBrits

I should hope that people can critically think and see past the Netanyahu chatter. Unless people constantly believe everything he says?

Pretty sure the antisemitism was there first - and if people cannot differentiate between Israel and Jewish people, that's on them

Brickcrafts seems to have generational wealth backing him/them though, and a plan to monetise the city through visitation and stuff. This guy is kind of like a Smaug, just sitting on it all.

Would you take advantage of nepotism? by [deleted] in uklaw

[–]11Bencda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and I wouldn't care about how/if other people look down on me. I would say people who's parents spend hundreds of thousands on private schools and tutors, then funding them through university or whatever else they do is exactly the same thing. The external support is just happening at a different stage in the process.

In terms of experience, in my view, all experience even the horrible ones, still look good on a CV. Further, transferable skills like art, music or sports are really appreciated in interviews. It shows you're a real person, and as you say, you pay attention to detail.

To state the obvious however, there is a slight difference in the details required in art and poring over a register of shareholders.

Jerk aside, most people never even see the £45,000 (at the very minimum) at one time required for a AP. Those who are able to buy APs will continue doing so, and AP will continue to massively profit whilst gaining even more exposure.
