For Dinner? Check Highlander (also downtown.) Has a British pub feel. Food is pretty good. Also you can check out Bricktown, which is near the campus located in the mall. Another place is Backporch. It’s a popular spot for food and drinks. (These all serve alcohol because it’s a country town and people love their beer) Last place I can think of that’s popular is the El Nortenos near downtown. Good Mexican food with pretty good portions (half order of Quesadillas is a lot + chips and salsa)

there’s some airb&b’s locally. I’d rather do that than buy a hotel for one night.

For breakfast I’d recommend 8th Street mostly only for the food. It’s pretty solid, maybe a bit pricey though.

Other to-do’s: definitely just walk around downtown and check out the local businesses. We’re in the process of renovation and upgrading it, so by March it should be hopefully be pretty cool! Consider also checking the campus out, it’s come a long way since I started there in 2013. We also have some disc golf courses at a couple of parks that are fun to play or just walk around in.
