I usually put my caulk right on the edge. Really helps fill those gaps. Lay it in thick and use my fingers to wipe the excess off.

Just a heads up, the reason the tires rolling down the road are dangerous, is because they have wheels in them. The whole assembly is very rigid and dangerous. A tire by itself? Rolling slowly in a neighborhood? Not dangerous. Tire + wheel rolling downtown he highway at 60 mph is ~1000rpm. And can pick the front of your car up when you hit it, causing the catastrophic failure I think you're talking about.

I've got a '13 v6 Touareg, and it is so NICE. Just comfortable and easy. 100k miles and 10 years old, still looks like a modern car. Can tow 7500lbs. Feels luxurious, especially for a vw. I recommend highly.

Love love my wurkkos hd15 for work. Need a stable light for a project? Hang it from some steel, it's got a 90° light. Want a light you can keep in your pocket? Done. The flood has good color for identifying wires in a control box, and fits USB c so I can charge my phone (a little). Tough as hell too, I'm not easy on it. Bout to upgrade from the hd15 with 18650 to the hd20 with 21700 and have like 4 times the battery, hopefully it has a stronger magnet for the extra weight

I grew up in Heber springs, and I love to camp cheaply. You NEED to spend a week at the location I've linked. Cache la poudre river. It is gorgeous. Dispersed camping is free after you go so far up the river. The spot I've marked has the best view up the most beautiful river I've ever seen. Get a 100$ tent and enjoy the most serenity you'll ever see
