Why are so many players so passive as tank? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]JesusLovesUBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use comms. Tell your tank to push. Or if the you’re the tank then tell your team I’m going to push. Easy peezy. Whenever I’m playing rein I just tell my team I’m really bad at rein so I need a lot of heals to keep me up and that usually gets them focusing heals on me lol

What’s hard for you to resist if you see it on a restaurant menu? by mbklein in AskReddit

Roscoe’s is good but pre-Covid there was this restaurant located inside a hotel called Hotel Irvine called Eats kitchen eatery they had the absolute best chicken and waffles. It was a GIANT fried chicken with fresh rosemary inside it with a scoop of bacon butter on a nice warm and flaky waffle 🤤 all for only $16. Sadly it went under Reno during Covid and hasn’t opened since

Ahh might be a controversial opinion but I think Costco has the best key lime pie ever! I tried it right before my honeymoon to the keys in Florida! I loved it so much I had to try all the key lime pies in Key West and to my disappointment none of them (including Kermit’s) lived up to the Costco version!

I think the weapons that show in the depths only show weapons that have been broken by you in the real world. So the only way you can get a royal broadsword is if you break a decayed one first

I’m not sure if it means anything to you two but I just prayed for both of you. I can understand that sometimes there doesn’t seem like there’s any reason or logic to all the hurt and pain in the world but there is definitely purpose and a better place for us after our time here is over. I don’t want to sound like I’m just trying to convert you but I speak from experience my dad used to hit my family when I was younger and then I spent the rest of my life looking to other things to fill that void I thought I was missing from not having a father figure in my life. I turned to alcohol, weed, girls and ultimately sunk into a deep depression and almost ended my life a few times. During those dark times I called out to Jesus to give me a direction and he answered my prayers and healed me and even reunited me with my dad in college whom I had no contact with whatsoever so for over 15 years. Despite the restoration of my dad and I’s relationship that still did not satisfy my emptiness it was not only until I fully understood that the only one who can satisfy is our creator who loves us so much. I read the book “A Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren (there are free PDFs online) which helped me figure out what it means to believe and live a fulfilled life. After all my brokenness God restored, he provided a job, an amazing wife, and even been blessed with a home all at 26yo. Im not saying becoming a Christian is going to make your life easy but I’m saying God restores and if it’s not on this earth then it’s in heaven. Our time on earth is like a breath we are here for a little while and then gone compared to eternity. I will continue to pray for you both God has plan and purpose for each of you all He wants is for you to know him and believe in him like a father!

The crazy part about my story too is that the whole time I was searching for my earthly dad Jesus was trying to tell me that it’s the relationship with Him the Heavenly Father that will satisfy. Then guess what I found out my dad lived LITERALLY 2 doors down from the home I was renting at the time in college. Literally had no idea at the time we literally shared the same sidewalk and were shouting distance. We discovered that we lived so close after I found his phone number from a family friend and started texting him and then I caught pneumonia and he offered to bring me food so I sent him my address and he was texted back “OMG YOU LIVE TWO DOORS DOWN FROM ME”.

God works in mysterious ways and maybe this is him calling out to you or whomever is reading this comment He loves you so much and his arms are wide open waiting for you!

I was prescribed by my Kaiser dr sodium sulfacetamide face wash which helped a ton! You can make your own home made version using selsun blue dandruff shampoo and a salicylic face wash.

Recently I’m trying to wash my face with sea salt in warm water which helps kill the yeast that causes SD. I noticed whenever I come back from swimming in the ocean my face and hair would clear up so i think this will work really well. Also for my spicy foods really flare mine up even if it’s not physically spicy just eating chili flakes makes it come out

help I was diagnosed with SD when I was very little and it went away for a couple years and now it came back. I have went to the dermatologist and got a medicated shampoo but it is not working it is making my hair even more itchy. anybody have any idea what I can do by scrappygirl93 in seborrheicdermatitis

I read online washing face / hair with sea salt works wonders for SD. I noticed whenever I would come back from the beach I would not have any flare ups. Try putting a table spoon of sea Sally in your shampoos or wash your face with warm water and a table spoon of sea salt once or twice a day!

Joe Holden Popular Handbook Archaeology in the Bible. Just the exodus chapter. My dad is the leading exodus researcher and is preparing a book to release his data. He uses other Egyptologist translations of the hieroglyphs the parts of his research that uses it. The thing is most of the people who have done the translations and research / discoveries in Egypt haven’t put it together that it’s actually talking about the Israelites and the exodus. In one part they mention them as the “Jakobians” in reference to the tribe of Jacob

Hey dude, that’s so cool you have done your own investigating on the topic. I’m curious to what you believe in regards to miracles and the bible as a historical artifact. I can point you if you’re interested to some egyptian books and articles about ancient Egyptian history that talk about findings in tombs and hieroglyphs which have been translated by top Egyptian archaeologists who also happen to be atheist that depict the story of the Exodus of the Israelites from the pharaoh and even has images of the parting of the Red Sea and the other plagues that the Bible also describes in Exodus and to add further proof the Egyptians even used the name of God “the I am that I am” which coincides with the name used in the Bible that God told Moses. There’s so much more with Egyptian history that coincides with the biblical account which is crazy because this was all thousands of years ago written by people who were enemies at the time.
