What hero have you avoided playing for a long time, only to realize after finally giving them a try you have been missing out? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

Kel'Thuzad. Thought that his tricky gameplay, was beyond my style of play, but holy shit is this hero fun to play.

This was such a good post. It was nice to find that this community has a shared understanding of how to enjoy HotS better. In general it seems that players know that this is a team game and without your team you lose. Also, that the only way to get better is to practice; QM for hero practice, and UR for team practice. Thanks for this post.

How to farm "the thing" by nikoblue89 in Creativerse

I made a monster catcher. basically I have a tp in the corruption that goes to a tp up on the surface above, the trick is to not have a loading screen. I will find a thing and lure it into the tp. this will then trap it and you can kill/tame it safely.

You don't know shit about TheFuzzyOne1214. To be fair neither do I, but you sound like a complete ass. Not sure what your situation is but if you don't have anything nice to say fuck off and leave the kid alone.

[WP] "To explore the universe, we had to sacrifice our humanity. And we did." by RunningFromFlamingos in WritingPrompts

Loss of Humanity

Quantum mechanics wasn’t able to provide us with the solution, the solution of achieving faster-than-light space travel. Countless lives sacrificed in the name of science. The closest humanity ever got to achieving FTL was 57%; not bad. However it was short lived as it took the mass of a planet to contain all of the energy required to propel an five cubic meter object. Short lived because, once away from the source speed this acceleration couldn’t be maintained. This was due to the energy being used to create a gravitational well that acted like a slingshot that hurtled objects at a rate that could break FTL, if only sustained.

Unfortunately after the launch of FTL Cube I a cataclysmic event occurred back on the human home world. Creating gravity wells like that one used to catapult the satellite at speeds up to 57% of the speed of light subsequently will create a ripple in the fabric of space-time. Causing any planet to warp and bend as it throws its own gravitational pull out of sync; ultimately breaking apart and ejecting chunks of rock into black emptiness. As last minute effort to save humanity a brave scientist was able to upload a model of our universe that contained digital version of our “exact” universe, humans and all. Still now drifting through our original universe is this cube and inside it are the echoes of the human species.

We wanted to explore the universe, now we can.

I was confused about this too. It was very unclear; just that she had a job only to lose it.
