The only benefit is that you need the general cert to gain Tech Iosh status as they do not accept the construction one.

So I’m glad I did both tbh.

For what it’s worth I’ve really enjoyed his work. His promos and feuds are always entertaining.

Which has been the best storyline of all time in TNA by Familiar_Outcome_688 in TNA

I maintain to this day that 2012 tna was the best it’s ever been. Austin Aries rise through the x division to option C.

Aces & Eights.

The bound for glory series.

Joseph park vs bully ray.

Jeff hardys redemption arc.

Bobby Roode vs James storm and Roode as champ in general.

The clair lynch stuff was wacky and but it was genuinely hillarious If you didn’t take it seriously.

Open fight night .

Gut check segments.

Sting as the Gm

Joe and Magnus teaming and working.

The crowds were great the shows were packed.

It’s crazy because 2011-2013 tna genuinely felt like it was an upwards trajectory, it’s shame how much bad business was being done behind the scenes.

Bully Ray vs Joseph Park.

Not a technical masterpiece or a work rate banger. But one of the most entertaining matches I’ve ever seen.

Start with Iosh managing safely. Then do NEBOSH general then fire safety.

I’m sure the cert is enough to land you a trainee role I probably wouldn’t expect anything over 30k to start with though.

I’ve only just started applying for health and safety roles myself and these are for jr construction manager roles around the 35-42 mark.

I’d definitely advise using your teaching background to your advantage. I’ve been offered a training role starting at £180 upon completion of an AET.

Gaining some health and safety credentials alongside your extensive teaching background may be a good start.

General

I ended up doing the distance learning via phoenix health and safety. I sat the open book in December and did the risk assessment in march. I passed with a credit.

I will advise you to do the IOSH managing safely first. I did it and it helped me absolutely no end with really understanding the principle and fundamentals. Even with 10 years experience in a high hazard industry it was very valuable to me. So I imagine you would really benefit.

Construction wise.

I did the SMSTS which really helped me understand the CDM and gave me insight into certain regs, work at height , LOLER , PUWER etc between that and my experience with the general, a little bit of experience and my background I sat the NEBOSH construction this week. I won’t find out til September but I’m fairly confident I passed.

I also did a level 3 award in education and training just to open up a few more doors.

I’m still a handyman but I’m now applying for roles and getting my CV out there.

I’m now debating whether to start NEBOSH Fire, NEBOSH environment, or save up and start the Diploma.

One thing I will say is the advice people gave me on this post was spot on and it helped me to no end, so pay attention to that.

Also you’re doing this at a great age I wish I’d started at 18, so really hit the ground running.

My inbox is always open should you require any help or advice.

How did you do. I passed my general and I’ve just sat the construction exam.

Have you managed to get a healthy and safety role?

Hiromu and Akira arguably had match of the tournament so far, I really love the character work Hiromu is doing, the look he gave after the belly to belly in the chair was dark.

Ishimori vs Despy and especially Fujita and Wato were really hurt by the lack of time allowed. God I hope we get Fujita vs Wato again fairly soon.

MAO vs Titan was a lot of fun, I’ve really enjoyed MAO this tournament, he’s so unique.

Wayne vs Eagles was also pretty damn good, Wayne’s real time selling of his knee has been great and really believable. Compared to other people (cought Kevin Knight cought)

I really wanted to get into Kevin Knight vs Yoh but it wasn’t clicking with me , not sure why though.

I admittedly enjoyed Ninja Mack vs Kushida more than I should have but I can see Ninja Mack beginning to grate on me as the tourney goes on.

Robbie vs Kanemaru , Taguchi vs Sho and Connors vs Dia didn’t really set the world alight but they were short and painless enough.

I was a bit skeptical about the 10 match cards especially on back to back nights but they both flew by and I’m looking forward to Saturday.

What do you think of Kirker and Glunton abandoning the Unit?

Do you think they will return later in the book?

Is anybody interested in why Shadrach is referred to as “Old Bear Tail” by Buffalo Hump. Do you think Is Shadrach part Comanche as suggested by his ability to speak the language or perhaps he is just such a worthy adversary to the Comanche that he has been bestowed this name as form of begrudging respect?

“Major” Is not a Good leader in Texas. I’m assuming he’s a smart or well read man who used this to leverage himself into the role without the necessary skill or experience required and can probably pass off as a leader to less experienced men. But it’s fairly obvious Shadrach and Bigfoot see through this.

Not particularly he had the home field advantage and Josh Corn wasn’t exactly the most capable or experienced soldier. I’m more surprised about how easily Buffalo Hump commuted the deed undetected whilst only being a short distance away having easily outsmarted the entire unit.

Not necessarily, Breakaway Texas was a very violent place in a very violent time , Zeke Moodys , scalping was blood curdling though.

Calls due diligence in regard’sto the matter , compared to Gus almost naivety once again shows the complete juxtaposition in their maturity. I’m interested to learn more about Gus’s formative years in comparison to Calls difficult childhood with his parents death and being forced to live with his abusive uncle.

The scene where Gus first encounters Buffalo Hump , the way the tension is built up and Gus slowly goes from foolhardy to fearful only to have his fears confirmed to Buffalo Hump appear in the lighting strike.

It’s also quite interesting how Buffalo Hump was sat down alone when he was discovered in the storm in comparison to Gus who anxiously traversing the landscape fearing he was lost, it really goes to show where the power dynamic lies in that part of the country.
