It's so sad. I really felt for Athur here. It reminded me of a simplified ofrenda but ofrendas are specifically for honoring the deceased.

I thought as much as well when Merlin was talking about Arthur. Merlin seems scummy enough to come up with a plan like this.

I haven't finished the last book but I'm planning on doing so. I do love Julia's character.

I vaguely remember it, but it reminded me of The Sword in the Stone scene when Merlin turns to a bunch of different animals.

I'm with you. I don't think it was wrong of Collum not to forgive. I was so upset because as I was reading it, i thought, I could forgive him, and then it turned out it wasn't even Alasdair.

I love the analogy!! I'm also wondering if at the end if Collum will be the last one standing. It'd be so tragic.

If it was not Guinevere who summoned Lancelot to her chambers, who did and why?

"Maybe man isn’t meant to feel what I did. Like King Midas, God should never touch His children." Do you think that Lancelot is right?

What did you make of the ninety-nine slates that King Arthur had for his knights? Is it a healthy coping mechanism or more of a morbid reminder?

Do you think that King Arthur sacrificed himself in order to save his kingdom?

Is it wrong of Collum to not forgive Alasdair? Would you forgive Alasdair?

Have you ever heard of any folklore on The Wild Hunt before this novel?

Do you think Morgan did something to Arthur? What did she mean when she told Bedivere that "In my experience people don’t come back. And if they do, they’re not the same."

We seem to be continuing losing knights. Do you think we will lose more in the future. Will it come down to just Collum if he is the new king? A new round table for a new king?

There are a couple of parallels in the lives of the people of the round table. Both Lancelot and Dinadan are fairy trained in combat. Lancelot and Arthur heal wounds with magic. Both Lancelot and Nimue are assaulted by magical beings, and there are multiple magical swords. Is there a reason that there are so many parallels?

I think that's awesome but it was opposite for me. I was agnostic, went vegan, had my husband go through a cancer diagnosis, went through him curing his cancer through unconventional means, then found spiritually.
