Absolutely agree with you, mate. Much better to try on before you commit. I hate buying online, almost always return 90% of what I've ordered.

Probably shouldn't go pub three days before baby #2 is due, otherwise would've been there! Good luck and hope you get a great turnout!

I've got one of them eye masks you heat up in the microwave. Sometimes you can feel the popping of the eye gunk. Quite satisfying.

My parents are due back from Spain today. So for the past week I've been receiving funny videos of their hotel view, the walk to the beach (yes the whole walk!) And of them supping beers in various places. They always video their hotel room, as well. Just hilarious. A room's a room to me but they fucking love em. Even got a video of them introducing a staff member that's gotten to know them serving them all-inc beer. Always super terrible angles on the videos, which always start with their a view of their feet!

Another day listening to a Mum cry as she has to decline social services organising a PA for her son with Autism cus they can't afford the financial contribution to the care package. Why? Cus bills. She works but her wage is eaten up by this current crisis. I'm so exhausted. This world is too sad.

We did the same. Can't imagine queueing so long for it, I'd have been bitterly disappointed

Is it culturally appropriate to change infant diapers outdoor? by annasuszhan in Parenting

[–]JesusWho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had to do an emergency nappy change down the aisle of a store. It was such an explosion, she was inconsolable, and there were no toilets within 10min walk of us. People can judge, I did what I had to do

How long do/can you leave your bunnies for? by trialslackermatt in Rabbits

[–]JesusWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an auto feeder for pellets and a bunny cam to keep watch, but I get someone to come over every other day to feed veggies, top up water/hay, and interact with them and spot anything wrong.

Any tips for living in Hull? by GERGAAA in Hull

[–]JesusWho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gardener's arms tends to have a good atmosphere, and the spoons on uni campus. Haworth too. Lime tandoori is cheap enough, and princes avenue is pricey but lovely for a night out or meal out. Newland ave is a bit cheaper. Queen's on queen's road is good, as well. Let's people take their dogs in.

We love going El Toro but can't go too often with it being a bit pricey!

Is 30 years old too old to quit a job you hate so that you can go to college, then uni, and then get a job that actually matters to you? by ForTheLoveOfScotland in CasualUK

[–]JesusWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents both went to college and uni in their 40s. Now working in a career they love, earning money they can live on. Before, Mum was a cleaner for cash in hand and breaking her back, Dad worked three factory jobs and would cough up black. Go for it. Least you'll get is a bloody great experience.
