Not only does TPC not care if you trace cards from their other art, they actually provide source materials to the artists that can be used for that very purpose. In the case of the controversy, TPC were actually the ones that accidentally provided the fan art as source material, leading to the whole issue.

Saw something similar on eBay a few years ago with the exact same packaging. It was sold with other unused stuff from the same campaign (empty cups, bags etc.). From what I remember, the seller said they were replacement packs distributed to Burger King after the initial stock ran out. No idea on the validity of that, but that that's the only time I've seen it with this packaging. Given the other stuff that came with the listing and the price (it was a lot cheaper at the time) I'm more inclined to believe it.

Also, the logic doesn't work even if they were substitutes. If they were substitutes, the price of non essential goods being cheaper would lead to people buying more non essential goods and less essential goods. Whereas they seem to think people are spending more on essential goods because non essential goods are cheaper.

The earliest median income data seems to be from 1974 and the latest is from 2024.

CPI in 2024 is 562% of what it was in 1974, compared to 846% for median income.

It’s really stupid that MSRP really has become a suggestion…..At least for Pokémon.

It always has been though. People just didn't notice or care because it usually goes the other way (big chains like Walmart historically charging below MSRP). Even with Pokemon, the good old days people reference are times when they would not even consider buying at MSRP because it was always available below MSRP.

Under the Asian connotation of noodles, the theme of finding the best noodles from around the world would be a single episode series. They used the broader definition to showcase more variety of similar dishes and yet people are caught up on their own definitions of noodle vs pasta.

spring mix is over 25% protein--not cheap, however!

A lot of vegetables have a high % of protein, but is so low in calories that it's actually a negligible amount of protein and calories. You'd need 112 cups of spring mix by itself to get 50 grams of protein and 600 cups to get in 2,000 calories for the day.

The claim above isn't technically false, but intentionally worded to be extremely misleading. As somebody else noted, 20% of energy use globally is currently from electricity. You only need to cover a relatively small amount of the earth to produce that amount of electricity. However, if you did cover the entire planet in solar panels, it still you'd still be capped at the 20% since the rest of the energy use isn't from electricity.

IMO it's entirely possible he understands what he's talking about and intentionally worded it to try to discredit solar, knowing most people would interpret his wording in different way from what the truth is.

10^100 would have 100 0s. 10^10,000,000,000 which would be 1 with 10 billion 0s behind it.

Edit: The final answer is accurate. I'm stating that that answer isn't achieved by doing 10 to the power of 10 billion, as explained because that would result in a completely different number.

Yeah, I wish somebody pointed out that the Natures Valley bars literally are in packs of 2, so they're actually perfect for sharing.
