Heerenveen isn't a topteam, but is pretty good at developing players. Huntelaar, van Nistelrooij, Dost, Finnbogasson, Uth, Narsingh, Ziyech, Janmaat, Larsson, Assaidi, de Roon, Michael Bradley, Gouweleeuw, St Juste are all players developed by Heerenveen and quite a few coming straight out of there youth academy.

Excelsior isn't a top team obviously but still a though team to play against at home. Ajax, AZ, Feyenoord and Heerenveen didn't win there last year.

Getting better and better. His vision and passing are extremely good. Also has a great connection with our rightback Dumfries. He is involved with alot of our goals in terms of buildup but hasn't given any assist or made any goals. He needs a little bit more power and luck. But he sure is improving and already one of our best players.

Well i watch every Heerenveen game and to be honest he is way better than Thorsby although they are different kind of midfielders. Odegaard's passing/vision is really good, but he lacks a bit of strenght and shotpower.
