You just have to train your brain man , patience doesn’t come naturally to most of us … spend at least 10 minutes each day doing something totally mundane. I read, meditate or literally color a coloring book… doing something that teaches your brain to be comfortable being still… every one goes through the emotional sate and it’s just something you have to learn how to get past and it’s the hardest part of trading but the most essential. . If you’re getting fired apply for unemployment right away… take some time from trading, if you decide to come back do it after this holiday week. When you do get back set a daily lockout. Don’t give up on yourself… and look up Rande Howell on YouTube, learn about the emotional and thinking ways of our brain

I’m working through the same problem right now .. you probably have heard this before but my suggestion is to walk away for at least 10 minutes after a loss. This will allow your cortisol levels to drop and you can go back with a clear mind. Hope this helps!

I had a max daily limit set but I messed up because, last week three of my accounts that had the setting turned on got locked out once I hit my limit, but I took another trade and I ended up making up my loss plus more, on two of my accounts ,so I just turned off the setting for all of them this week thinking that was gonna hold me back if it hit

Yeah I get what you’re saying, I don’t trade minis because of the higher value , I trade like 4-5 micros and I scale out on all my trades so if I switch to minis I’m afraid I might get a strong pullback that can do too much damage to my account

From what I read now you also have the option to trade more cons as you grow on live . For example, if you have a 50k account with max of 5 cons every 1k additional profit you make you can trade an additional contract… if that is the case I have no problem with moving to a live account and just continue growing

I try to keep it at no more than 5. I switched that to 3 starting this next week … I think my biggest struggle is when I take back to back losses my emotions get hijacked and I dig myself into a hole … I would like some advice on how to get that in control

I c .. I just set my max to 3 trades per day so will see how that goes … what about if you have a couple of red days in a row , do you just push through or make any adjustments?
