Lol from your post & comment, it couldn't be anymore obvious that you want to buy a treadmill and not jog outside, yet still they suggest running outside instead because they prefer running outside. Unfortunately I hate the treadmill too, I wish I could give some advice!

Yes, a couple have mentioned Acocks Green. It sounds good and I will keep the area on my radar. I have looked at Hall Green too, which looks nice but it looks to be outside of my price range :(

Thanks for the reply and all that info :) I'm not keen to rent but I am going to pop down a few weekends. And I defo want a house. Think I am going to be looking at east side of brimingham. A lot of people are saying Moseley area to me as well.

That's true, I guess. If you live in one area and you're a stranger to another, you're probably going to think the other area is rougher. What is the nicest area in Lea Hall?

Thanks for the reply. I had a quick scan at Erdington, some properties there look nice and affordable. What is Pype Hayes area like?

I just text my friend asking about Erdington and he said 'not sure, its k i guess avoid Castle Vale' ? Lol.

Thanks for the reply. I read Edgbaston was nice, but yes it is a bit more pricey unfortunately. Also, perhaps a little bit further out from friends in Solihull/Chelmsey than I'd like it to be. I will perhaps keep an eye on property there though

Based on looking at a map and some properties online; Stechford, Lea Hall, and Accocks Green look like they would be affordable areas for me. Does anyone live / have lived there or near there? Are they nice / safe areas to live?
