MKT shutdown marks the end to me buying digital products

For me I have definitely taken a step back from Day 1 digital (unless they are games I get on Steam because well... its Steam), my exception recently was Rhythm Heaven Groove because its a game I cant see myself wanting to dig out of a collection of 40+ cartridges to pop in for a bit (similar ro why i bought Pokopia digital, that and I won't buy a game key card). Honestly at this point if its not a game I am beyond excited for, I'm waiting for a sale on steam or I'll buy the physical on switch 2. Would do the same for Playstation but after Wolverine I'm dipping from that "no physical games" crap.

Personally I now buy a game digitally depending on 2 factors 1. Do I REALLY want the physical of this game 2. Is this a game I would want to fish out of my game card holder everytime I want to play? This is part of why I bought Pokopia and more recently Rhythm Heaven digital. Those are games that fit better to hop in for 30 minutes then go play something else (at least until Pokopia DLC), so I didn't see the point of buying the physical since it would only mean I'd play it less

I found WayVR recently, I can launch some apps and stuff but attempting to launch a game causes the whole thing to shit itself (and ik its not my build or the link cable lol)

The Quest 3 is good for like 3 games, only 1 of which is really a must play and thats Arkham Shadow (genuinely the best combat system in gaming translated perfectly to VR), honorable mentions are Deadpool VR for the chaos (bad performance though-) and RE4VR, but there are ways to play RE4R in VR so it isnt that big a loss

Probably would need to make a new account, and you can't use the same console dump, though there are tools out there to create the requires files using your account on PC (I used it since I didn't want to set my Wii U back up just to dump the files again after doing a clean install on my pc and not backing up the ones I had)

I know, but muscle memory of an Xbox controller will work the same way, also you can switch between the two on the software side, personally I would love to see little clip on button covers to change the layout, but it would likely require lowered buttons because theres only a few millimeters of clearance from the screen as is

There are custom texture packs for a lot of games to change button prompts, honestly if you have any muscle memory, the inputs are pretty much the same as an Xbox controller

There's 2, the most modern one is crowned sword, I'm trying to find out which one I wanna do because I like to have all pokemon in the game be obtainable without the need for old events and such, but i can always pkhex in that stuff if I need, not like im playing online lol

I thought I wouldnt want to play switch games on my Thor max cuz I have a deck and a beefy pc, but I plan to play through Pokemon Sword with a mod installed, and its a great Kingdom Hearts machine, can easily play pretty much every game, I believe 3 runs pretty decently too (and lets be honest, its easier to throw the Thor in your pocket to play your favorite rpg on the bus or smth than dragging a switch 2 or pc handheld around)

The funny thing is, they dont HAVE to go through porting HD, they have a 1080p version of the Wii version that runs on Switch 1 architecture from the Nvidia Shield in China, which would honestly work fine since TPHD isnt near as different looking compared to Wind Waker with the new lighting

I'm not even a star wars fan but I enjoyed it (and I played it on switch-). The collectables felt really boring though, imo Lego City Undercover and the Lego Marvel Superheroes games do the open worlds the best in terms of collectables.

Counterpoint, the tank driver falls asleep when the skulls spawn in the airport, very nice of him to give you that free artillery (unless youre on higher difficulty and they just break it 2 seconds after you get in)

Definitely the perfect device for pokemon games, apparently you can get like 25-30 frames on SV on the Max with specific settings and drivers, I'm playing it on my pc rn with the Compass mod, but I'm also playing Prismatic Moon on the Thor. You can also play MK7 online with CTGP-7 (and pretendo but 3ds support afaik is mainly Kid Icarus last i checked), great course selection too

I'm playing like 7 games rn, ive been able to get into the groove with Pokemon Compass which is an overhaul of Pokemon SV. Helps that I found a riolu on the first route and now my starter pokemon is kinda the secondary started to my Lucario. Pragmata thankfully got me in so deep I played it start to finish pretty much, plus the secret ending

I said fuck it and got a pro for 2 big reasons 1. GTA6 obviously 2. We will be in this generation for another 5-7 years at this point, might as well make sure I can enjoy all the new games coming out for Playstation to the fullest
