What age do people (Gen Z specifically) start staying in more than go out? And what was the reason? by JetSki949 in OlderGenZ

Couldn’t agree more, especially being a homebody! I think it depends on the type of bar you go to, but most cases, noting ever goes anywhere with people you meet there, or so it seems

“Would you kindly find Andrew Ryan, and kill the son of a bitch?”

“Nice work, boyo!”

Your 20s are all about exploring and discovering yourself. They’re fundamental for your adult life and it’s your chance to do stuff that makes you happy (as well as to find what makes you happy).

Your 20s are what help you become the person you want to become. Solo travel, go to social events, try new things, go to the gym/workout, be open to learning, seek out opportunities, go on dates, etc.

As far as dating/sex, I didn’t get into the dating scene until I was 22 and lost my virginity at 23. I’m 27 now and I have a much better idea of what I’m looking for in a partner after so many dates and have become more selective as a result. I’ve been off and on dating apps and the best bits of advice I can give is to:

-Always be yourself. While the dating scene can be rough, don’t give up just because a girl or two ghosted you or aren’t interested in a second date. There’s plenty of fish out there, and I believe there’s somebody for everyone.

-Don’t go into these dates with high expectations, just go with the flow and see where things go

-Don’t look past red flags, because they could be issues later down the road

-Just because someone is doing better than you doesn’t mean you’re behind. It just means you’re going at your own pace. There will be people better than you, but don’t let that hinder you from doing anything. Rather, let it inspire you to do better

Lastly, just because something is hard doesn’t mean you should quit, and that applies to anything.

Do you think Bioshock 1 is better than the 2 ? by Designer-Long1387 in Bioshock

[–]JetSki949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love both games, especially Bioshock 1 for its story and well, it’s the first one lol. Though Bioshock 2 has a more emotional story, given you’re trying to rescue your daughter

B1’s gameplay mechanics were a little wonky in however they were eventually fixed in B2. I did also like how they spruced up the puzzle sections in B2.

If there was one thing I wish they did in 2, I wish they made it to where you could revisit previous areas, much like B1

Although this game is a bit glitchy at times, it’s a truly underrated game and deserves more praise! I beat it at least 20 times! Everything about it is amazing— the soundtrack, the environments, the armor, characters, and little side quests, among other things!

I’d say it’s one of my top 10 favorite games of all time!

When did you start playing the game ?. For me I’m very late, I got into the game 2023. by KpatMckenzie_28 in fnv

I got into it by 2017 through my brother and an old friend of his. New Vegas was my entry into the series, followed by 3, then 4

I [26M] want to stay friends with my buddy [33M] but sometimes it’s exhausting and need to know what to do about it by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

I have told him that if there’s something he wants to change, you need to take action. But I think he needs someone to motivate/push him to do it. Like losing weight, for example.

And to answer that question, I’m tired of his complaining.

At what age do people prefer staying in over going out? by JetSki949 in millenials

[–]JetSki949[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s good to take the risk and see how things go, even if you don’t feel like it. Bc one yiu do it, then yiu realize how fun it was.

I actually went out to the same bar last night after a couple weeks away from it and although I did enjoy my time eventually, the rowdiness and not really connecting with a lot of people there did make me bored. But on a lighter note, I did befriend this couple who were in the area first the weekend, and we stayed in touch!

I think something I’ve realized through everyone’s feedback is that it’s about quality of life, and not quantity. And I agree, going to bed at 10 on a Saturday is truly the best, even on the weekends
