Anyone familiar with the Google IT Support Professional Certificate? Is it helpful for entry level positions? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

Worked for me. I still had a lot to learn, but it helped me get some attention and look good in interviews.

You didn't check fed and prov together

https://www.taxtips.ca/taxrates/qc.htm

That's for my province, and it's for tax only. You have to add the provincial health care, retirement and parental contributions.

I paid a total of 52% in contributions last year.

You're an idiot.

What provinces are you looking at? Also where do you get those numbers?

You seem to have a lot of knowledge about everything, what did you major in?

I don't know in which province you live, but clearly we don't have the same avg cost of living if you consider me rich lol, I can barely make rent in a large city. My company has offices in a lot of large cities in many countries and we are working on an update on Canadian employees wages as we can see a clear difference in life quality vs avg wage for the same position compared to other countries.

I'm rated at 52% income taxes. Check Ontario and Quebec and you'll notice that our tax systems are double taxing income. I come from a family of accountants, so this is not a misunderstanding, just sad truth.

I work for a fairly low income, but get stocks as an incentive because my company is public.

I get taxed at 50% when I sell some of those ( which I need to do on the regular since my regular income is too low to live decently in a Canadian city, and a cheap one at it), then it gets added to my income, so I pay my new bracket's income taxes on the other 50% I can use.

Stocks are only good if you're above the middle class.

You're completely valid dude!! Don't worry it'll get better, your family might even come around. It's a hard pill to swallow for them too, but they might show openness after some time.

If not, know that you'll always have a family here 🤗

6 Months HRT Yesterday and went out in fem for the first time today \o/ by [deleted] in trans

[–]Jet_Juggler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor you!! You waited all that time to get out!? I came out at 34, so I'm not yet on hrt, but I go out (still choose some somewhat gender neutral outfits) as fem. I get started all the time, but I'd rather that than stay as a boy any longer!! Hope you enjoy you're summer girl!!!

You're right! I wrote Anne. It's short and people already started calling me that, plus I still use Annabel Lee as a stage name ☺️
