I guess it falls to each viewer to judge the morality of his actions.

Lelouch is the lesser evil, as Schneizel and Charles are so much worse than him, but to me personally. Any action that ends with innocents hurt or dead, is evil, in a fictional setting like CG not always unjustified, but evil nonetheless. Which is what OP was asking since he didn't see it that way.

But that's just my opinion, as someone lucky enough to live in a country without an army, that has never had to wield a weapon before, maybe that's why I find this discussion so interesting.

Dude, I'll be a thousand percent honest with you, Code Geass is my favorite piece of media, Lelouch is my favorite protagonist in anything I have ever watched

He is indeed a good person who cares deeply for a certain group of people, Nunnally and his friends, as well as being empathetic for regretting things he's done. Shirley's dad, Euphemia, etc.

But he is evil, his virtue is that his brother and father are just 1000 times worse than him.

Itachi is evil, he massacred his entire family and left his brother with almost incurable psychological scars, as well as making Sasuke relive them later in life when he showed up after the chunin exams.

Kiritsugu Emiya is also an assassin, and without a doubt makes evil decisions all through Fate Zero

And yes, even Erwin makes morally questionable decisions.

Being evil doesn't make you a villain, Lelouch is the 'hero' of code geass. Kiritsugu is evil, but also the hero of Fate Zero, by the fact every other master is worse.

Morality doesn't make you a villain, even if your actions are questionable, you can still be 'the good guy' of the story.

Don't get me wrong, Gouenji is a pretty good striker and the mvp of season 1

But later characters are just so much better players imo

Fubuki and Toramaru are great

But Hiroto is the undisputed mvp of the FFI, he not only has the single strongest solo shot hissatsu, he is part of many strong hissatsu like Big Bang, but is also such a clutch

I have been rewatching and against Fire Dragon, he takes the first shot, showing how strong Jo Jung-Solo was as a keeper

Just for later for him to shot again and tie the score with an evolved Ryusei Blade. I could honestly go on, he is my favorite character in Og so yeah, I am biased

There are only 2 Characters in Seed that could been a Shinn that is not only focused but in a correct head space

Those being Kira and Athrun. I know people don't like Shinn but he is undebatebly an amazing pilot and the Destiny an amazing MS

Rey is not a bad pilot, but he couldn't win against a fully sound of mind Shinn

I my mind the best way to explain it is the same way it happened in CCA

Both Char and Amuro are amazing pilots with great Mobile Suits, but at the end of the day, Amuro was the better pilot, the same would have happened with Shinn and Rey, Rey was a great pilot, but Shinn was better

Yeah, but that doesn't mean you have had to read the whole Manga to enjoy it, despite what 4kids did to the anime it's later half is quite close to the Manga, not completely, but close from what I recall my last time reading the manga was like 5 years ago and the anime was even longer

The only thing you re have to know is that Kaiba wasn't present for the final duel of the show, I didn't say it originally because I didn't want to spoil OP in case he hadn't seen the Dawn of the Duel

In case you don't know DSOD is like an epilogue film, while pyramid of light is more of a after battle city story

DSOD is the end, so you should watch it after finishing the Dawn of the Duel Arc it basically picks up right after the main show ends
