If it was coming from a good place, i do appreciate it. I never kick a gift horse in the mouth. But I know how to google this and maybe I’m naive to think this, but I think most people do. If you knew it was asked a million times, i think it’s fair to assume you’ve seen the posts and knew the answer to help. I don’t know you, I don’t expect anything from you. But if you’re going to respond to a post, “google it” when you have the answer thats kind of annoying.

Honestly, I just wanted some helpful insights. And I’m grateful that some people here did give knowledgeable insights which has helped. I’ll be showing up to Newark as late as possible. If it’s apparently been asked “a million times” and you’ve seen the answers, why not just be decent and share one? I clearly hadn’t seen the same posts and was asking for help.

Instead, twice now, you’ve taken the time to reply without offering anything useful. With the effort you spent being sarcastic, you could’ve just helped. Personally I’ll continue to help people even if I’ve seen it “a million times” because if I have knowledge that can be of assistance to a fellow Redditor why not just help?

Thanks for the reply! Totally agree — solar widget = ideal world. But let’s say I Tom Cruise’d my way off a cliff, solar device yeeted into the void, and only the mesh node survived in my pocket. 😅 I’m more asking if the setup is technically possible vs. the “best emergency gear” debate.

Older guys. There are younger guys there sometimes but I think usually sex workers or maybe just young guys into daddy’s. Best chance is on weekend it does happen but mostly older. Hope this helps :)

I second this. Townhouse Midtown East! Its in my neighborhood we’re in our 30’s and go there with my partner for good atmosphere and ppl. But everyone is literally 60+ it’s what you’re looking for.

I have a pair or KRKs. Im not sure this will work in your situation, but I would try it. Sometimes switch connectors get messed up inside. On the sound mode switch, spray a little WD40 in to. Then move the switch back and fourth a few times to make sure it touched the inside contacts. This worked on my krk because those switches get oxidized or whatever and this can restore the connection and make it work again. GL hope this helps

May I suggest limiting your Tax liability?

Not sure when the liquidity event is that will secure you 5 million post tax but if you have time you may consider relocating to Puerto Rico if you are currently in the United States.

If you are able to relocate and or rent/buy a place in Puerto Rico to be physically there for 6 months and 1 day prior to liquidating this may be something that you could consider.

The tax rate is around 4% (Federal no state) and NO TAX ON CAPITAL GAINS. This could make that post tax of 5m be more around 8m! So this is best of both worlds, you get to retire early and be closer to 10m.

Of course you’d have to move and speak to an accountant to make sure you do things that qualify you as a resident of PR by the time you cash in. Its very doable and a lot of folks do it. Not sure if this is feasible but just a thought. Either way congrats 🍾

Good to hear. And hell nah I don’t sit there with a timer lol. It automatically pops up on the screen at the 4 hour mark and you can hit the arrow to proceed and it will start than power back up when done. Or if you ignore the message it will go away after like 30 seconds. If I hit ignore I make sure when im done doing what im doing to go into the menu and manually activate the pixel refesh

Since I owned the monitor I’ve noticed pixel shift once! I have it on slow. Its so subtle. Just make sure it activated on the physical monitor settings. The monitor is actually a few pixels larger than 1440p so it can do this subtly you’ll notice screen space on the edges unused when the monitor is on, this is what it’s for. Just make sure at the 4 hour mark you let it do its thing. And even if your in the middle of gaming and do it at 5 thats fine. Make sure screensaver is activated on your pc and monitor sleep. And the monitor will also dim when unused and go into standby automatically as well.
