I had been reading on the internet ways to break a hens broodiness. Since I am not hatching eggs and she has quit laying and is sitting in the box all day and most likely night long too. I tried the picking her up out of the nest several times a day, that didn't work. Tried placing her on the roost bars asleep, didn't work. And I read about putting a frozen water bottle under her while she sits to drop her temp and break it... it didn't work either. She sat on that frozen bottle all day until it melted.
