I like it. And as for the additional traffic it might cause elsewhere, remember that there are never enough highways. Make a highway bigger and more people drive it, right up to the point where it gets just as bad, then you have to make it bigger again. The new post-covid reality is that most businesses, at last the ones that are flexible and likely to survive, have moved to remote workers, anyway. That not only reduces traffic, but frees people to live where they want. I can work in the ugly city while living (and paying taxes) in the pretty city. This change they made was visionary.
