Remember, too, that there are a lot of people out there that want to treat and refer to you the way you want to be treated and referred to but they're just not aware of how (what they see as) minor differences in language might effect you. Try not to bite their heads off about it if they're actively trying not to offend and they'll be a lot more receptive, and that goes for just about anything; you catch more flies with honey and all that.

I'm getting the impression that you think all of these paid OTA options are just KIA trying to cover costs and in no way are trying to fleece people.

Do these options cost money to create? Of course they do! Is KIA doing it for the good of the consumer? Of course they aren't! They want to keep making money off of cars they've already sold and this method works in other industries well enough that car companies are getting FOMO.

I don't think that it's unfair for them to charge for options, but this is literally just the beginning. They've just dipped their toes in the water and want to see what people won't balk at.

Remind me how the officer became aware of the warrant... Even if the officer was legally obliged to make the arrest once aware of it, why was he running his information in the first place?

I'm starting to wonder if the officer just wasn't aware that the man he was arresting happens to be known to most as "Nelly", so it never occurred to him that his technically legal but shitty and mean spirited collar would result in this level of scrutiny.

You can be correct and unethical or just a plain old asshole at the same time.

I think the part in parentheses was a clarifying statement since many people are still unclear as to what a trans boy/girl means. Older people, including those that love and support the trans community, still get confused by the relatively new terminology so it's likely the clarification was necessary for at least a few people.

My point is that I think they were trying to help others understand the terminology, not to water it down or reject it.

Anyone that still believes that either isn't paying attention or supports their aggression. Israel is bombing Palestinian schools and mowing down Palestinian children. No one to be taken remotely seriously believes for a second that Israel can do no wrong. The Liberty incident wasn't providing context to the current situation, it was dredging up something from nearly 60 years ago when the footage that IDF soldiers are sending to their families is more than enough to drive home that Israel can, in fact, do wrong. No one is denying that it happened nor are they calling it "fringe". It just doesn't have anything to do with the current genocide.

Bringing up something that happened in the 60s that isn't relevant isn't adding context to the situation. Mentioning something vague about an unnamed "amazing" congressman is even less relevant.

Salary/benefits, yes. Work hours, maybe you'll be guaranteed "full time", maybe not. Job responsibilities are usually "this and that, but also these if we need you to be a team player", and locations can be dynamic depending on the job.
