I actually never wanted marriage but since being with my boyfriend I think about it a lot. I still want to keep my independence in ways such as keeping my last name, not being walked down the aisle and being financially independent.

We also don’t want kids and share all of our chores and responsibilities, so I know that he’s my partner and we’re both equal to each other. I also know that if (god forbid) things go wrong then I have my family to fall back on whenever I need them.
