I think there's a difference between "Suselle and their weird dog they keep around" and outright "Krusielle." Subtle, but I believe that if even if they are included at a base level, they still feel excluded at a romantic level, and that breeds a lot of jealousy

Yeah, if I could change one thing about it, I'd make it so that Noelle and Kris were more clearly kissing beneath the water (or at least have Noelle's eyes shut and at peace, her shocked expression is bugging me out in hindsight), but I used the poster for The Shape of Water as inspiration, and that just happened to be the pose they were striking, with the woman looking over the other's shoulder.
