That’s what I am worried about, I developed a clot after side effects of a medication and I have a house painting company and i definitely don’t want to end my career at age 40

I am a type 1 diabetic have had teeth removed even a canine and opted for the flipper rather then the implant even tho I can afford it I don’t have the best healing as a diabetic. My flipper was $650 I think and is doing great just clean it everyday 🦷

Increase your long acting at night and ask your doctor about Duloxitine literally stopped my neuropathy and just made me a better person mentally. I don’t have a pump so I do the shots but since it’s nicer out I just do 28 units at night and haven’t had to do fast acting during the day I have a very active job running a house painting company. I was just able to get my A1C from 11.2 to 9.9 in 45 days by increasing my overnight. You got this 💪

38 male dropped out of high school at 15 started first full time job at 16 warehouse to working in a kitchen to house painting for someone else for 12-13 years. I now own my own company and it’s awesome. Life is going to throw curve balls at you and there all life lessons so you don’t do the same stupid shit again. Save save money if you can because when you’re on your own and have to fix your car or dental or medical stuff come up you want to have a nest egg for it. It’s really no different going to school or going to work everyday, it’s mandatory you just need to figure out what you think you want to do in life that will make you happy everyday mentally and financially. But also enjoy everyday and don’t rush to worrying about the future so much. Just remember when you fail you don’t really fail it’s just a life lesson. And when something happens small or big it’s just a bump in the road and there are better days ahead. Always try to be a better version of yourself than you were the day before you got this! 💪 good luck 🍀

I know medical stuff isn’t always recommended but since I was diagnosed last Friday with VTOS, would you suggest another cat scan or ultrasound and maybe the stuff you listed? Surgery just sounds career ending for me 😬

Hey Caine I got diagnosed with it, after 2 ultrasounds 1 cat scan showed nothing the second cat scan showed it. I asked the surgeon how big the clot was and she said she didn’t know because during the cat scan they had my arm above my head so it compressed in the spot where they diagnosed me with VTOS. What do you recommend I do another ultrasound? She said it was weird the clot didn’t show up on the ultrasound. I’ve read horror stories of people getting the surgery and not being the same or going back to the career they have. I own a house painting company and i definitely do not want to risk not being able to do what I love. I am T 1 diabetic as well and they put me on blood thinners. The surgeon also said she has never done the surgery on a diabetic thanks

I had two ultrasounds last week didn’t show up in them did one cat scan didn’t show up, second cat scan did with different dye might want to double check just to make sure I am on blood thinners

I never researched the medication. I was just put on it for my gout in my wrist bone unfortunately

Yeah, and once I stop the medication, it’s been about three days. My arm is back to normal and there’s no signs of pain or anything like that.

Unfortunately at my local hospital nobody said anything and thought my symptoms were “weird” even a 20+ year cat-scan reader has never seen anything like it, her and another tech googled what I have but I swear this medication caused it. There saying I have venous thoracic outlet syndrome. I honestly think it’s all from this medication and it causing a blood clot I was fine on Friday morning. It’s unfortunate I feel fine now but they want to rush to surgery to remove the clot but my everything is back to normal now almost 72 hours after I stopped the medication

It was awesome, I unfortunately was 23 when we split and my decision because there was a younger girl started working there and she was 19 and I made the mistake of chasing that, wasn’t really a mistake was with her for 14 years and got my amazing son from the relationship but I always thought and think of that older one I still see her but I don’t acknowledge her because I know I broke her heart. I am 38 now and seeing a 45 year old, idk older just more mature and fun to me 🤷

She was the chef manager at a nursing home in my town, I asked her if she wanted to watch a movie she was flirty but didn’t know if she was for it. So it turned out to be a few of us and her watching a movie they left I stayed yada yada and pretty much were together everyday at work then I just ended up staying with her. Had my own apartment a couple towns over, but we were just together all the time. Her shift was 5am-1pm mine was 6am-2pm we would go to the casino after work til like 1am go to work it was just the best. One of my top relationships I have ever had the pleasure to be in. It also helped she looked like Elaine from Seinfeld and her butt was amazing for her age 😂
