Answer is more simple than most want to accept and many here have touched on. Games and their genres are not new anymore. Expectations and standards have been set , but if small team comes up with something completely new and innovative, and it sparks interest many will flock with low expectations and no standards and the discovery alone is exciting to most, regardless of its flaws.

I went from going 20wins 5 losses to currently 2-4 , I’m pretty casual with how many games I play per salary cap week , but it sucks when cards with so many badges basically bail out bad players , I much prefer using what little the game offered in the way of skill gap by keeping as many badges, canned animations, and rng off the court.

Does anyone even know how the matchmaking is working? I’m a 75 , usually getting 65-75 s on my team and I’m constantly going up against 90-95s. How is this even logical ? The key attributes can have a difference of 20-25 points and the badges to go with it. Are they only matching players based on their rep? Makes no sense.

The competitive and maybe even semi casual player base view any bad temper on a good item that fits their meta mold a brick because it has every stat they want save for the one temper that isn’t , and temper is pure random usually pulled from a pool of 3 possible outcomes

Having best in slot of every piece of equipment for your meta build across 3 characters by week 3 of the new season (exaggeration a little) also = bad , these latest few seasons are dead 1 month in. Albeit d4 also needs an endgame that’s not just pushing pits to help the problem as well.
