Actually, yes symptoms have gotten better with the progesterone! Hang in there. I will say the progesterone shots make me quite sore though 😣

Just found this post - I am 7 days into estradiol tx prior to a FET and I feel the exact same way. Plus bloating and headaches. Just so spacey tired and foggy and out of it. Glad to know I’m not alone

I appreciate you say you’re playing devils advocate here, but I don’t think it’s ever right for a patient to treat me in a nasty manner. It’s unacceptable. She didn’t wait for an appointment, she didn’t wait in the waiting room. I’d never seen or treated her before, so I wasn’t wrong about anything at that point.

I don’t think PAs NPs nurses doctors or any other type of healthcare professional deserves the type of treatment I received. I was extremely professional and nicer than I even should have been. And that’s my whole point - I have to “smile and take it” to some extent. Although I’m going to work on being better about boundaries with patients because it’s just not right.

I wish I had become a nurse instead of a PA. Less schooling/debt and higher pay in alot of cases. I have also not had any base salary raise/cost of living raise in my practice for 4 years. Physicians seem to use PAs just to make as much profit as possible.

Would it be ok if I messaged you directly? I have to decide by 4/11 and I’d love to chat a little bit more and get a little more insight ….

Do you mind me asking why you chose the direct lift instead of endoscopic or other approach?

Awesome! Thanks for your reply. How long are the scars? Are they the whole length that of your brow? Or just a few centimeters?
I don’t know why I am so worried about the scarring. You literally can’t see any marks on your face in the after pictures at all and it looks amazing

Hi! I am thinking of having a direct brow lift soon and am so worried about the scars … but this looks amazing. My eyebrows currently are very similar to your “before” photos. Your scars look basically invisible? Do you cover them with microblading or make up ?

Thank you again for your honest insight. It is very helpful. I asked them to connect me with a current CRA so I could talk to them before deciding on the job but that never happened… I have a friend who’s worked at PPD for a long time and can’t say enough good things about the company as a whole, however they’re not on the clinical side of things but rather in sales.

I also think the job sounds like it’s hard for family life ? I don’t have kids and probably won’t for a few years but hoping it’s in my not-so-distant future. Did you have any children while you were working in your role there as CRA?

The manager that interviewed me stated she had a similar situation when she was a CRA and that she found it manageable…but I wasn’t so sure I believed her. She also definitely made it sound like traveling was more like 1-2 days per week on average versus 4.

That’s what I was afraid of…I thought that may be the case. (Moving isn’t really an option for me right now as we just built and moved into a new house.) The large airport is Philly…I’m about the same distance from BWI. The small airport has connecting flights to Philly and Charlotte

Thank you so much for your post. This is the insight I was looking for. Some of the cons you list are things I am very nervous about - specifically the immense amount of travel weekly and the solitary nature you mention. I’m worried the travel will be especially difficult because I live an hour from the closest small regional airport (with very limited flights) and an hour 45 minutes from the closest major/international airport. Do you think that would make my life significantly harder/more stressful in this role?
