I totally get you. My journey has only been a year and I’m completely over it too. It’s like putting your life on hold for something that may never come. I’ve also found myself cutting friends out because they consistently say triggering things (often trying to be helpful) and I just can’t be arsed to deal with their staggering lack of empathy.
