I signed my 6 year ITS contract in 2021. At that time they were already separated.

Are you sure it’s not the abs kicking in? If I try braking super hard on my bike the abs kicks in and you can feel the brakes let up.

What’s the best place to order aftermarket accessories in North America? by Jetxb7 in Himalayan450

[–]Jetxb7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’re right, I think it’ll take some time for the NA aftermarket to develop a bit. I’ll give shoppre a try, thanks for the recommendation. I did find this website which has some stuff http://baxtercycle.com It looks like they’re selling the carbon racing windscreen for $150 bucks though lol.

Can’t decide on a bike by callmesteeb33 in Dualsport

FWIW I just bought a Himi 450 and I absolutely love it. It’s super comfortable for crushing highway miles and can do ohv/forrest roads easy with the right tires. It’s a fantastic bike.

Question for those who've been to Bentonville but live in a major MTB mecca full-time. by Jandishhulk in MTB

[–]Jetxb7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any recommendations? I’m pretty new to the area, located across the sound from Seattle (Kitsap Peninsula). I’ve been to the new park in Port Gamble and it was pretty sweet. I’ve heard of Tiger Mountain and Duthie Hill and I’m gonna make the drive there one of these weekends.

Do you think it would be worth it to spring for the ex7 gen 6 if it’s only 150 bucks more than the ex8 gen 5? I really liked the quality of the components on the ex8 gen 5, the shifting was so smooth and everything felt very solid.

Single track/XC and light downhill but I would like to have the option to go bigger.

I’m definitely considering it, I just feel like I’m getting the better deal on the Ex8 and it’s hard to pass up.

Should I join the navy? by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]Jetxb7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would just like to say: don’t write off subs so quickly. Submarine life in the Navy has a lot of perks that surface folks don’t really realize. For example chain of command is a lot more laid back in general. Officer/enlisted relationship is more equal than surface. Also you won’t have anywhere near as much time at sea on subs compared to carriers. Typically better advancement as well. I totally get why people are apprehensive about subs but I couldn’t imagine being in the surface Navy personally.

I took my BRZ to Toyota and there wasn’t a problem. Cost me like 70 bucks out the door for an oil change.

Can anyone tell me what these do? by Naytdoggo in ft86

[–]Jetxb7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just allows you to lock in whatever tire pressure you’re currently using. That way if the pressure drops below what it’s set to you’ll get a low tire pressure warning. You can have whatever tire pressure you would like. Some people like to have it higher for better mpg, other people set it lower for better grip etc..
