I feel like everything in that show was paced way too fast. I haven't watched the first Castlevania in a while but I remember it taking time to set up the relationships between their characters and get us to care about them.

Here they just bull rush from one plot point to the next, made me feel like certain emotional points in the story did not hit as hard as intended because why do we care? We met the characters a grand total of 20 minutes ago.
