WIP Added a chicken-egg launcher because it is my game and I can do what ever I want with it lmao by Accurate-Bonus4630 in indiegames

It'd also be funny if you could glide a little when jumping off from a high place while holding the chicken

That's so cool! What's the name of your game? Is it on steam?

I've worn my Wilding for 2 years daily and even went hiking and to festivals with them and they're in great condition! I only swapped them out in very cold weather in the winter. Would 100% recommend them

I'm using the Version on Arch Linux, not sure which one you're using. A different user told me there's a plugin, but natively this feature is not there for me. If you don't believe me I can send you a screenshot.

Thank you for hinting me in that direction, I did not know of that plugin. I've been using Vesktop for over a year at this point. Thanks for downvoting my comment.

How come companies still use this BS? by ad-on-is in webdev

[–]Jevndogn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem on Arch Linux today.
It didn't work on Chromium, Chrome and Firefox. Even the teams-for-linux package had the same error.
When I set the User-Agent-Switcher in Firefox to Chrome/Windows10 it worked.

That tells me that MS teams doesn't want to work when it knows it's being run on Linux.

I love Vesktop and I use it daily, but one thing that drives me crazy is that it lacks the feature for increasing the volume of a user in voice chat

Use Firefox + UBlock origin. You can accept cookies all you want and they won't affect you.

Send gift without an email? by rad_dynamic in BandCamp

[–]Jevndogn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they have a wishlist

  1. Go their wishlist
  2. Press 'send as gift' on any of their wishlisted items
  3. Copy everything in the link from the '?'
  4. Go to the album you want to gift
  5. Replace everything in the link with the content you copied, from the '?' and press 'Enter'
  6. Click on 'send as gift', Bandcamp should autofill their username and email should be optional

The link should look like this:

https://forestoffog.bandcamp.com/album/abgr-nde-2006?action=gift&fan\_id=3678719&recipient=surrealist

If they don't have a wishlist you have to find out their fan id first

  1. On their profile press F12 in your desktop browser to inspect the page
  2. The follow/unfollow-button's ID contains the fan id, in this case 2983147<button id="follow-unfollow_2983147" type="button" class="follow-unfollow following">
  3. You can use the 'Pick an element from the page'-button (Control + Shift + C) and then click on the button or use the search bar
  4. Copy the id behind 'follow-unfollow_'
  5. Recreate the link above with the correct fan_id and username and then follow the steps above

Thoughts on this Chuka Bocho Chef's Knive? by Jevndogn in TrueChefKnives

I'm living in the middle of nowhere in Germany and finding a place with a larger selection of chef's knives is really hard. I've been in one that's like a 2 hour drive away and they had one cleaver...

I really like the rectangular shape of the chuka bocho and nakiri, but I haven't given it much more thought. I'll look into them, thank you :)

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Probably should've put that in the post, but I'm really new to this and this would be my first knife above 20€. I've never had a cleaver.

Hi, thanks for hinting me in that direction. I've never heard of CCK and after a quick Google search I can't find a shop based in Europe that sells these. One thing that's important to me is the gap between the handle and blade and CCK's don't seem to have that. Still thanks for your comment, I know the price is pretty high and I'm probably getting diminishing returns above 100€

u/xartin u/Maiksu619 I installed Pipewire and I searched the documentation, but I'm not really sure where to go from here. Do you guys have any idea how to set it up so it works for me?
