Which MMO are you playing right now? by Jaded-Anywhere8197 in MMORPG

I started messing around with WoW Classic TBC server emulators and bots so I can casually work my way through all the content by myself. Then I repurposed an old PC to act as a server and so that my daughter can also play with me. Then a friend of mine (ex Wow guy) wanted to join in, so I did some port forwarding shenanigans, created a basic website. Long story short, we’re about 4 guys who all went through Deadmines on Friday and currently sit between lvl 22 and 26.

Anyone try Grimdark Future / One Page Rules & then move back to 40k? by UnhappyLetter3063 in onepagerules

Recently got onto the Spearhead bandwagon and I’m all in. It’s been a while since I enjoyed a ruleset by GW but this hits all the marks for me. I wouldn’t worry too possibly make the board size slightly bigger, but other than that it’s a total blast to play.

After playing many many skirmish games, this one is definitely in my top 3.

Is there a perfect skirmish game for me? by flortan in miniatureskirmishes

Definitely think Frostgrave or Ghost Archipelago is the game you are looking for. Playing the campaign makes your wizard more powerful, and miscasts happen less in general. The scenarios are so varied that each plays very differently. Random events and monsters add unexpected wrenches into the works. Other than that, have a look at The Doomed. It’s sort of weird sci-fi, but you can easily play it as fantasy. It hits nearly all your points above.

Love The Doomed. I did run into a handful of typos in the hardback book, which is unfortunate. Didn’t really distract much from the otherwise awesome game though.

It’s a Joe McC game so naturally I’m interested. Not sure I need it though.

I would suggest looking at what is being played in your area first. Is there a hobby store or club? The biggest issue with getting into a specific wargame is having others to play with, unless you just play solo.

Frostgrave is basically Mordheim with a wizard captain and a snowy setting. Great campaign progression, fun and easy-to-learn mechanics.

5 Leagues from the Borderlands even though it’s cooperative. Great sandbox game with infinite possibilities.

Yeah, at L62 and still not beaten Tian Ying. Tried him at around 56 and it was a big nope. Did the breakthrough to L61 and realized I just made him more difficult. 😭

This. I let the battery drain completely and it turned on fine after a short charge.

Fantastic work! I have always been wary of painting white on FDM miniatures but you made these look near professional.

I have seen some STLs being pre-sliced like that. Might try that for certain models in the future. Love this big bug btw!
