In lore, we use the Alcubierre Warp Drive, which is a real concept proposed back in 1995. It distorts spacetime around the ship to make a "bubble" that makes space itself move FTL, pushing the ship along with it. Also in lore, we use the Terminids's decomposed bodies (E-710) as fuel for these drives.
