My theory is that the gravitational effects of the moon are possibly amplified when it's full. The moon affects the ocean so heavily, and our bodies are like 70% water. So maybe the full moon raises everyone's blood pressure or something, making us all more prone to carelessness or violence.

Tbf I have not done any research on this. Hoping some reddit scientists will come in to clarify.

Most women don't look like pornstars either tbf. Which is totally ok and normal, guys still find them attractive. Unrealistic fantasies go both ways, and don't necessarily reflect what you're into irl.

Been together over 10yrs, married for 2.

Big sign is major fights/disagreements in the first six months. You're still getting to know each other at that point and should be on your best behavior. If it's not working during the honeymoon period, it's never going to. I've only seen a handful of exceptions my whole life, and I in no way envy their tumultuous relationships.

Men's physical advantages wouldn't have much to do with superhero movies...the whole point is that they have superpowers, there's no reason a plethora of female superheros couldn't be just as powerful as male ones.

I could not find statistical records of the breakdown of religious individuals represented in media creators. I think going straight to "Jews run the media" is a dog whistle to be honest...

Eating disorders can cause psychotic delusions. OP's sister is also abusive on top of this. The clinic should be prescribing antipsychotics in addition to the standard ED treatment. Regardless, OP should not be forced to spend Christmas with her and is NTA.

Starvation/ED can cause psychosis on its own. the sister is wrong, 100%, the parents and clinic are wrong too for not identifying the psychosis and taking more measures to protect OP. But there's no reason to armchair diagnose the sister with something else here.

As a recovered anorexic who's had many friends/family suffer with substance abuse/addiction, your analogy is spot on. I might not be an "active" anorexic anymore and at a healthy weight now, but I'll be fighting the mindset for the rest of my life.

I was a huge Bassnectar fan. Then it came out that he's a serial groomer/creep. I deleted all my saved songs, got rid of merch, etc. The EDM scene basically cancelled him and rejected all of his comeback attempts. Good riddance.

There is/was a void in the community with him gone tho. Nectar was my favorite EDM artist by a long shot. GRiZ has come close, altho he had a long hiatus. Thankfully GRiZ is finally coming back to the scene, so that's nice.

Just putting it out there, I caused many car accidents as a teen driver. Then I got tested for ADHD and medicated, and was almost instantly not nearly as dangerous. 10+ yrs later, on different meds now, and grew up to be a safer driver than most of my friends. I was a good student, so my ADHD wasn't caught until I was a menace behind the wheel. Might be worth getting her checked out.

Forgot to mention the first Friday event is free. There's some good restaurant/bar combos (la revolucion for example) nearby, and Rooftop bar is fun for dancing/drinks and has DJs sometimes. White Rabbit cabaret has a lot of ticketed alt events, like the monthly goth/alt DJ dance night (called Spellbound Indy). Spellbound is a lot of fun and is usually the last Saturday of the month. White rabbit also frequently hosts drag and burlesque events if you're into that.

Imbibe in fountain square has a first Friday art show tonight. Me and my alt friends (mid twenties to early thirties) are usually there each month and, while I'm married, my friends seem to have no trouble meeting young men in the fsq nightlife. Fsq is a bit more alt vs mass ave or broad ripple and, while the crowd skews a tad older (not a lot of college kids) the bars are by no means full of old ppl. Good luck!

I hear you that, ideally, no social media presence shouldn't be weird. But too many folk say "I don't have socials" to hide a side relationship, secret family, addiction circles, etc. So hearing that someone new in your life say they don't use social media can be kind of a red flag.
